My name is Vince Wilson. I have been a Union Ironworker for almost two decades now. Before that I built and remodeled homes. During my time as an ironworker, I have worked in every facet of steel erection. After working as a non-union ironworker for three years, I was lucky enough to be inducted into Ironworkers Local 29 Union and my career truly started.

The experience gained on the road to becoming a Journeyman Ironworker and as a carpenter was immeasurable and priceless. Like any wise person, I kept myself open to learning and soaked up every bit of knowledge and trick of the trade available from the Union and the countless years of knowledge that surrounded me through my peers. During that time my work ethic, ability to problem solve and ever-expanding knowledge of the trade built a reputation for me that led me to leadership roles.

My roles as Foreman and General Foreman on several projects eventually led me to Superintendent roles. Which led to an opportunity to help launch an erection outfit for a fabrication shop that, after six years and several attempts, was struggling to get their field side off the ground. They had limited resources, so I took on the roles of Superintendent and Project Manager, as well as helping with the estimation aspects.

Several times general contractors, my peers, and my family have said that I should start my own company, which has always been my dream.  Now I’m seizing the opportunity that has been presented to me. My years of experience in every aspect of the job as a Journeyman, leadership roles, estimating, billing, and carpentry make me invaluable as an owner/operator and I look forward to many successful projects in the years to come.
